I'm building HydroSurveyIQ: an independent Hydrographic Survey specialist for offshore energy, ports and marine infrastructure across the Gulf, India and worldwide—wherever opportunities arise, grounded in three decades of survey leadership with Fugro, Gardline and Ocean Infinity.

The operations are mine to run — what it needs now is a partner to build the commercial engine alongside it.

HydroSurveyIQ is projected to reach monthly operating breakeven by Month 16–18. Cumulative EBITDA turns positive in Year 2, with payback achieved around Month 28–32 as it surpasses the ≈USD 1.43 million initial capital requirement.

Training Modules

Structured, competency-based programmes for Survey Engineers, USV Technicians, ROC Operators & Party Chiefs — covering multibeam, side scan sonar, GNSS positioning & offshore survey operations.

Participants range from all levels of experience and age groups, seeking to enhance their skills or bridge knowledge gaps.

Training topics can be tailored to client requirements and may include equipment operation and maintenance, troubleshooting, system fundamentals, safety, operational best practices and hands-on practical skills.

Delivery Formats
  • Classroom & Workshop Training: 1–5 days
  • Offshore/Onsite Practical Training: 1–3 days
  • Online Theory Training: 2–8 hours per module (on demand & incl. free training modules)
  • Blended Learning (Online + Practical): Customized duration

Training is preferably delivered in person at the client's office, workshop facilities, or offshore with emphasises on hands-on learning. On-demand online training is also available for the theoretical topics.

A single-beam echo sounder only reports the depth directly beneath it — that's why full seabed coverage takes so many carefully placed pings. Multibeam sonar solves this by sweeping a wide swath in one pass. Amber returns mark a wreck or subsea asset — sweep enough pings across it to positively identify the contact.
